Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect when you use Publikasi, what for, and how we protect it. We collect as little as possible and explain it as clearly as we can.

Data we store

When you sign up we store your email and name. Your password is stored as a hash (readable by no one, including us). Every project you create, the references you upload (including extracted PDF text), and the writing produced are stored in your account.

Payment

Pro subscriptions are processed by Xendit. We do not store credit card numbers or sensitive payment data. What we keep is only the subscription status and Xendit customer ID.

How data is used

Your data is used to run the service: build outlines, write drafts from your references, verify citations, and export documents. References you upload are processed by the AI only to produce writing for your project. We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third parties

This service is hosted on Cloudflare. Payments via Xendit. Citation verification uses CrossRef and OpenAlex (we send DOIs to check, not full content). PDF text extraction uses a self-hosted Firecrawl. All processing happens within our infrastructure.

Security

Login sessions are protected by HttpOnly and Secure cookies. Passwords are hashed before storage. Data access is limited to the owner account. No system is fully secure, but we follow industry-standard practices.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept while your account is active. You can delete projects or references anytime. To delete your entire account and related data, contact us by email and we will process it within a reasonable time.

This policy may change as the service evolves. Significant changes will be announced. The date above shows the latest update.
